THE CLARITY SESSIONS™

A Leadership Experience for Athletic Directors

Leadership gets heavy. Clarity makes it lighter.

An immersive leadership experience designed to give Athletic Directors something they rarely get: time and space to step away from the noise, examine what they're carrying, reconnect with what matters, and return to their departments with greater clarity.

This Program Is For Athletes Who Are Done Playing Small

Athletic Directors Carry More Than Most People See

An Athletic Director's job rarely stays inside the job description. On any given day, you're balancing people, programs, expectations, problems, and decisions—often while everyone else is looking to you for answers.

  • Coaches who need support, direction, and sometimes difficult conversations

  • Parents and community expectations that don't always align

  • Student-athletes whose needs extend far beyond competition

  • Budgets, facilities, schedules, staffing, transportation, and compliance

  • Administrators balancing priorities you don't always control

  • Your own expectations for the department you're trying to build

And somewhere underneath all of it is the reason you chose this work in the first place.

The challenge isn't caring more. It's creating enough space to see clearly again.

Clarity Doesn't Come From Doing More.

Most Athletic Directors don't need another leadership theory, another binder full of information, or another list of things to add to Monday morning.

Sometimes the most valuable thing a leader can do is step away from the noise long enough to see what's actually there.

The Clarity Sessions™ creates that space.

A place to slow down.
To examine what you're carrying.
To reconnect with what matters.
To recognize what's working.
To decide what deserves your attention next.

Not more to carry. More clarity about what already matters.

The Five Shifts Toward Clarity

The Clarity Sessions™ guides leaders through five intentional shifts—each creating the space to slow down, gain perspective, and move toward more intentional stewardship.

Shift 1

ARRIVAL

Slow down before moving forward.

Step out of the pace of the job and become present enough to notice where you actually are.

Shift 2

DISCOVERY

Recognize what's already there.

Surface strengths, patterns, perspectives, and experiences that can get buried beneath the demands of leadership.

SHIFT 3

THE BACKPACK

Examine what you're carrying.

Identify the responsibilities, expectations, pressures, and assumptions you've accumulated—and decide what still belongs.

Shift 4

CLARITY

See what matters more clearly.

Connect what you've discovered and begin separating what deserves your attention from what simply demands it.

Shift 5

STEWARDSHIP

Choose what happens next.

Turn clarity into intentional action—for yourself, your people, and the department you've been entrusted to lead.

You won't leave with more to do. You'll leave clearer about what deserves to be done.

This Isn't Another Leadership Seminar

The Clarity Sessions™ is a four-hour facilitated experience built around conversation, reflection, movement, and practical leadership work.

Participants don't spend four hours being talked at. They engage with the ideas, with one another, and with their own leadership.

  • Interactive exercises that make leadership visible and personal

  • The Backpack Experience to examine what they're carrying

  • Guided conversation with other leaders who understand the role

  • Strength and perspective work that surfaces what's already working

  • The Stewardship Binder to capture insights and continue the work afterward

  • Department Agreements that turn individual clarity into shared expectations

  • Practical tools they can return to when leadership gets heavy again

What You Get When You Join

I'm Chris.

I built The Clarity Sessions™ because I've spent much of my life in leadership roles where the responsibility rarely ends when the day does.

I've coached athletes, led teams, managed organizations, built businesses, and worked alongside Athletic Directors and coaches who carry an incredible amount for the people they serve.

And I've learned something along the way:

The leaders who care the most are often the ones carrying the most.

The Clarity Sessions isn't about teaching leaders how to care more, work harder, or add another strategy to an already full plate.

It's about creating the space to step away from the noise, examine what's being carried, reconnect with what matters, and return to leadership with greater clarity.

Because leadership shouldn't require losing yourself underneath everything you're responsible for.

The Journey Doesn't End When the Session Does

The Clarity Sessions™ is designed to create a beginning—not another experience that feels

powerful in the room and disappears when Monday arrives.

Participants leave with their Stewardship Binder, practical next steps, and a clearer understanding of what deserves their attention.

For some leaders, the next step may be personal.

For others, clarity may reveal a conversation that needs to happen with their coaches, department, or organization.

That's where the road can continue.
